15-year-old girl charged in stabbing murder of Fall River woman, 68
A 15-year-old girl has been charged with the stabbing murder of a woman inside her Fall River, Massachusetts, home. The tragedy occurred late Sunday afternoon. The teenaged suspect was taken into custody last night at the scene of the murder.
On Sunday around 5:02 p.m., Fall River Police responded to 220 Johnson Street and found Ana Vazquez, 68, with multiple stab wounds. She was rushed to Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River where she was later pronounced dead. ~ Boston 25 News
Following the murder charge, the Bristol County District Attorney’s office told CBS News in Boston that the teen girl had just started living in the home with Vazquez. The victim’s grandson also loved in the Fall River apartment. The teen murder suspect will be arraigned in a closed session in Fall River District Court today.
The murder suspect’s name cannot be released because she is a minor, according to NBC News in Boston. Police have not yet revealed a motive for the stabbing.
