$20,000 in rewards offered for info leading to arrest of 3-year-old Rylo Yancy’s killers
This week, FBI Miami announced that the agency is offering one of two $10,000 rewards for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the shooting death of 3-year-old Rylo Yancy while he was attending a children’s birthday party at Riverland Park located at 950 SW 27th Avenue, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on July 21, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m. A second $10,000 reward is being offered by Broward Crimes Stoppers.
The shooting subjects were in at least one but possibly two vehicles and they fired over 20 rounds at the people attending the birthday party. Rylo became the second toddler in as many weeks to have been shot during a gang-related shooting in Fort Lauderdale.
Investigators have identified two vehicles that may have been involved in the shooting, a 2022 red Mercedes Benz sedan and a 2017 black Mercedes Benz sedan. According to NBC Miami, police located and recovered both vehicles, but no arrests have been made yet.
The FBI reward is separate from the reward offered by Broward Crimes Stoppers related to this drive by shooting that claimed the life of Rylo Yancy. See the flyer for the Broward Crimes Stoppers below.
