On Friday, the New York Yankees announced the roster of former Yankees who will be on hand at the 74th Old-Timers’ Day, scheduled for Saturday, July 30 at Yankee Stadium.   This year will mark the twelfth Old-Timers’ Day at the current Yankee Stadium and first since 2019.

The Old-Timers’ Day roster will feature five Monument Park inductees: Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera, 1978 Cy Young Award winner Ron Guidry, 1998 World Series Game 1 hero Tino Martinez, five-time Yankees All-Star Willie Randolph, and Bernie Williams, who became the first player in Major League history to win a batting title (.339), Gold Glove and World Series in the same year (1998).

Joining them from the current Yankees coaching staff will be Manager Aaron Boone, along with Assistant Hitting Coach Hensley Meulens, who is making his Old-Timers’ Day debut. Also making his first appearance is Shane Spencer, who played five seasons in pinstripes from 1998-2002 and notably batted .421 (16-for-38) with eight home runs (including three grand slams) and 21 RBI over 14 games in September of his 1998 rookie season.

Former Yankees players and current YES Network broadcasters David Cone and John Flaherty will also take part in the festivities.

Additionally scheduled to attend are the widows of four legendary Yankees — Diana Munson, widow of Thurman Munson; Joan Ford, widow of Whitey Ford; Kay Murcer, widow of Bobby Murcer; and Jill Martin, widow of Billy Martin.

Fans are asked to be in their seats by 12:15 p.m. for Old-Timers’ introductions and video tributes. Fans should note that the extended introductions mark a new format to the event and that the traditional Old-Timers’ Day game will not be played this season. Old-Timers’ Day ceremonies will be aired exclusively on the YES Network. The Yankees will then host the Kansas City Royals at 2:05 p.m., also airing on YES. All gates will open to ticket-holding fans at 11:30 a.m.
