Nancy Pelosi’s home vandalized, spray-painted, bloody severed pig’s head left in her driveway
(Updated January 3, 2021) It didn’t seem possible, but politics and life in America took another and aggressively violent turn for the worse when it was reported that the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, had her Pacific Heights’ San Francisco home vandalized. The vandalism which took place overnight on New Year’s Eve appears to be the result of the ongoing debates in Congress over the financial devastations millions of Americans are currently suffering.
“ … most of the damage was done to her garage door and driveway. The perp or perps spray-painted “Cancel Rent!” and “We Want Everything” in big black letters on her door … and there’s also a nod to the failed $2,000 government stimulus checks.” ~ TMZ
Making the vandalism even more bizarre – and a bit more scary – in addition to the spray painting, vandals also left a severed pig’s head in Pelosi’s driveway directly in front of her vandalized garage door. The pig’s head and surrounding area were covered in fake blood.
Also included in the spray painting was the traditional ‘anarchy’ symbol — a circled capital A letter. That anarchy symbol can be seen spray painted on both sides of the garage door.
Police in San Francisco said that around 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day, they had a unit dispatched to Pelosi’s vandalized home, one of several homes she owns in California, after they received a call regarding the incident. Fox News reported the police as saying that, “Unidentified suspect(s) had painted graffiti on the garage door and left a pig’s head on the sidewalk.”
The driveway has since been cleaned up and the vandalized garage door has since been covered with plastic trash bags.
The Democratic House Speaker is always in the news in these turbulent political times – but no more so than recently after she and her fellow Democrats found themselves in agreement with President Donald Trump regarding the amount of stimulus money that should be sent out to Americans struggling financially during the current pandemic. On New Years Day, “Senate Republicans blocked a House-passed bill to increase stimulus checks from $600 to $2,000.”
Democrats had previously passed measures in the House for more increased amounts of stimulus funds to be sent out to Americans, measures that were blocked by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnel and were never voted on by the Senate. When Republicans and Democrats finally reached a compromise and agreed to send out $600 in stimulus funds to Americans, Trump called the $600 a “disgrace” and urged Congress to increase that amount to $2,000.
Trump’s top economic adviser, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, was the primary Republican negotiator of the now stalled COVID-19 relief bill. And it was Mnuchin who proposed the measly $600 payments to Americans. “Many have questioned why the president waited until now to object,” according to Yahoo! News. ~ Ace News Today
