Hip hop recording artist and rapper, Kodak Black, 24, aka Bill Kapri, is perhaps best known for his more popular singles “No Flockin” and “Tunnel Vision” – but is also known for his frequent run-ins with the law.  Early in the morning on New Year’s Day 2022, Black was arrested again in his hometown of Pompano Beach, Florida, on a trespassing charge.  As of this writing, officials with the Broward Sheriff’s Office haven’t yet released any additional details regarding his arrest, according to Yahoo! News.

Black has since posted bond and was released from jail for this latest infraction.

Back in 2019, the rapper was sentenced to a three-year federal prison term in connection to his buying some weapons illegally at a gun shop in Miami.  On former President Donald Trump’s last day in office in 2020, the president commuted Black’s sentence.  Black had served about half of his jail term by the time Trump commuted his sentence, according to Deadline.

More recently in April 2021, Black was charged with raping a teenage girl in a South Carolina hotel room, but took a deal and pleaded guilty to first-degree assault – which ended up with him only being sentenced to probation, according to WSVN.

Black has sold over 30 million singles and has had several multiplatinum and platinum-certified singles, including “Zeze,” “No Flockin’” and “Roll in Peace.”
