The Naples, Florida, Police Department reports that six individuals including a Lee County Circuit Judge, a Broadway actor and a pastor from Fort Meyers were among those arrested in a prostitution arrest sting that went down in Naples on Friday.  Fox News reported that, individually, the “Johns” made contact with an undercover police officer via cell phone and arranged to meet at a Naples hotel.  When the men arrived at the hotel, they all entered into negotiations with the undercover officer to arrange for sexual acts in exchange for money.

The men had agreed to pay the undercover officer $150 to $300 for those sex acts. All six were arrested and charged with Solicitation of Prostitution. One of the six has an additional charge of Resisting Arrest without Violence.

USA Today reports that the three luminaries among the arrestees include Broadway actor Patrick J. Boll, 53, of Weehawken, New Jersey, Lee County Judge Jay B. Rosman, 64, and Fort Myers pastor Richard Cecil, 47. It was Rosman, who hails from Bonita Springs, that incurred the additional charge of Resisting Arrest without Violence.

The remaining three men were identified as William B. Darmoh III, 29, of Naples, and Canadian residents Howard Cornibe and Peter W. Bradshaw, both 70.

Democrat and Chronicle reports that Boll recently ended a long run in the Broadway version of “Mamma Mia!”  Boll was in Florida appearing in the Artis-Naples’ production of “The King & I” which ran February 7 – 11.

The judge from Lee County, Jay B. Rosman, resigned his position yesterday.  Rosman started his judicial career serving on the bench in 1986 as a Lee County court judge and in 1992 became a circuit judge.  Prior to serving on the bench he was employed as an assistant state attorney and assistant public defender.  He also had his own private practice.

Both Cecil and Rosman have pleaded not guilty to their charges. Both men are married.
