Vero Beach man arrested, charged with trafficking Fentanyl, possession of cocaine, meth, more
Yesterday, Florida’s Vero Beach Police Department (VBPD) reported that during the month of September 2022, the VBPD’s Special Investigations Unit conducted a narcotics investigation regarding the sale of Fentanyl. Detectives were able to conduct controlled purchases of Fentanyl from a suspect they identified as, Alexander Frazier.
On October 7 at approximately 2:00 p.m., the VBPD’s Critical Response Team executed a Search Warrant at 1828 23rd Avenue in Vero Beach in reference to the ongoing narcotics investigation. Â
A subsequent search of Frazier’s residence was conducted where Vero Beach Police Detectives located the following:
- 25 grams of Fentanyl
- 1.2 grams of Methamphetamine
- 1.4 grams of Cocaine
- Approximately 100 various Pills (some unidentified)
- Approximately 3.5lbs Marijuana
- Several Jars Containing THC Wax
- 2 grams of suspected Psilocybin (Mushrooms)
Frazier was taken into custody without incident and charged with the following:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)
- 2 counts- Sale of Fentanyl
- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Sell
- 3 counts-Possession of Controlled Substance without a Prescription
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
The police said that this remains an ongoing investigation. Additional charges may be filed pending lab results. Frazier remains incarcerated at the Indian River County Jail on a $140,500.00 bond.
