Escaped prisoner: Woman arrested for cocaine possession escapes in handcuffs

On the evening of September 25, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office in Florida issued a statement saying that they were currently searching for an escaped prisoner in the area of Dunn Avenue and Harts Road. Officers had originally made contact with Emily Ann Howard in the 800 block of Dunn Avenue after responding to the area in reference to a disturbance.

Officers were in the process of arresting Howard for Trespassing and Possession of Cocaine when she managed to escape the long arm of the law.

Howard was last seen near the intersection of Dunn Avenue and Harts Road.

At the time of her daring escape, Howard was wearing a brown t-shirt, blue jean shorts and handcuffs.  Police say that her current whereabouts are unknown; and she could be anywhere.
