Florida man busted posting child sexual abuse and bestiality videos to Facebook
Just now, Florida’s Collier County Sheriff’s Office reported on a 20-year-old Estates man being in the Collier County Jail after a CCSO investigation discovered he uploaded child sexual abuse material and bestiality videos to Facebook. On Thursday, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Southwest Florida INTERCEPT Task Force and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested Cesar Ramirez-Lopez following a search warrant at his residence in the 700 block of 21st ST. S.W. in Golden Gate Estates, Collier County.
“This arrest is one more example of our INTERCEPT Task Force’s commitment to investigating crimes that exploit our most vulnerable citizens, our children,” Sheriff Kevin Rambosk said. “We will continue to pursue child predators and bring them to justice.”
INTERCEPT stands for Inter-agency Child Exploitation and Persons Trafficking. The task force is a public-private partnership dedicated to combatting trafficking and exploitation throughout Southwest Florida.
Between September 2023 and February 2024, CCSO received multiple cybertips from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children regarding an individual uploading dozens of suspected child sex abuse and bestiality videos to Facebook. The videos featured children who appeared to be as young as 3 engaged in sexual acts with adults, and adults engaged in sexual acts with animals.
Through investigative means detectives identified Ramirez-Lopez as the suspect. During the search of Ramirez-Lopez’s residence, several digital media devices were located in his bedroom and recovered for forensic analysis.
Ramirez-Lopez was present during the search. Detectives interviewed him and then took him into custody. He is charged with 14 counts of possession of child sex abuse material and 34 counts of possession of bestiality images.
The Sheriff’s Office said that their investigation remains ongoing.
