On December 5, the Broward Sheriff’s Office released word that 30-year-old Pedro Rivera Raymundo of Hollywood, Florida, exposed his genitals to a 14-year-old girl while she was walking in Cooper City on November 7.  Officials feel that there may be other victims out there and that Raymundo is in fact a serial flasher.

Around 3:00 p.m. on November 7, the child was walking in the 5200 block of Southwest 100th Avenue in Cooper City when Raymundo stopped his car near her and asked for directions. After the victim told him that she couldn’t help him, Raymundo unzipped his pants and exposed his penis. The Sun-Sentinel reported Raymundo as then saying to the little girl, “do you like it?”

When he drove away, the quick-thinking teen was able to get the license plate number of the car, a dark blue 2008 Lexus. A countywide alert was sent to law enforcement agencies describing the vehicle and suspect.

Through an investigation, BSO Cooper City Det. Christopher Neves identified Raymundo as the suspect. He was arrested on November 12. Raymundo faces a charge of Lewd and Lascivious Exhibition.

Further investigation led to a second charge on November 14 of Indecent Exposure of Sexual Organs for an incident that occurred on October 7, 2017 in Dania Beach. In that incident . . .

A young girl was walking southbound in the 1300 block of S. Federal Highway about 9:30 a.m. when a car pulled up alongside her and the driver motioned to her to come over. When she realized he was exposing himself, she said, “you are disgusting,” and then walked to a 7-Eleven store where a friend picked her up, according to the incident report.

They followed the car while she used her cell phone camera to record a video that she later showed detectives. The car and license plate matched Raymundo’s Lexus. She also identified him from a photo line-up, the report stated. ~ The Sun-Sentinel

Detectives believe Raymundo, who also goes by Peter, may have committed similar acts on unknown victims.

Anyone who believes Raymundo victimized them should contact Cooper City Det. Christopher Neves at 954-435-2200 Ext. 275.
