Harford County man arrested after exposing himself to woman in Aberdeen Shopping Plaza parking lot

MARYLAND – An Aberdeen man is facing an indecent exposure charge after police say he exposed himself and committed a lewd act in front of a woman sitting inside her vehicle at the Aberdeen Shopping Plaza.

According to the Aberdeen Police Department, officers responded to the shopping plaza at approximately 10:18 a.m. on August 12, 2026, following a report of indecent exposure. Investigators determined that the suspect allegedly exposed himself to a female victim and committed a lewd act before fleeing the area.

Officers later located the suspect near Beards Hill Road and identified him as Frederick Harris, 37, of Aberdeen, police said. Harris was initially taken into custody but was later released because of a medical situation.

Police subsequently filed an application for charges, and an arrest warrant was issued. During the early morning hours of August 13, an Aberdeen police officer located Harris and arrested him on the active warrant.

Harris was transported to the Harford County Detention Center and charged with indecent exposure.
