Isabel Hicks, a 14-year-old girl from Bumpass, Virginia, has been missing since sometime after 1 a.m. on Monday, October 21. Police believe she is in the company of 34-year-old Bruce William Lynch, Jr., also of Bumpass.  Lynch is Hicks’ mother’s ex-boyfriend, who had been living in the family’s home until he was kicked out about a month ago, according to CBS News’ WTVR.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Isabel and Lynch – and the vehicle Lynch was driving.

The FBI in Richmond have joined investigators with the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office in the search for Isabel and consider her an endangered missing juvenile.

Isabel is described as a white female, 4’11”, 120 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Bruce Lynch is 34 years of age and described as a white male, 5’10”, 190 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a beard.

It is possible that Bruce Lynch is driving a light blue, almost silver looking, 2003 Toyota Matrix with Virginia tag VEM-9071. Note: The picture of the vehicle seen here is not the actual vehicle involved in this incident – but is similar in make and color.

Investigators believe Isabel and Lynch may be staying in wooded areas conducive to camping.

Lynch should be considered armed and potentially dangerous. Contact law enforcement immediately – do not approach – if either Lynch or Isabel are spotted.
