(Original article) Police in Miami-Dade are investigating the abduction of a nine-year-old, autistic boy. “Two men in a light blue sedan abducted Alejandro Ripley about 9 p.m. Thursday from a Home Depot at 15750 SW 88 St., in Miami-Dade County’s The Hammocks area,” according to a report from Local 10 News.

According to police investigators, a Florida mom was with her son Alejandro as she was driving westbound on SW 88 Street from 157 Avenue when she noticed she was being followed by an unknown vehicle.  The driver of the unknown vehicle attempted to sideswipe her vehicle, forcing her to veer onto SW 158 Avenue.

The vehicle then blocked her in while a male passenger ambushed her, demanding drugs. After stating she didn’t have any drugs, he stole her cell phone and abducted her son, fleeing southbound in the unknown vehicle.

Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in locating Alejandro Ripley and in identifying the individuals involved.

According to the Amber Alert issued for Alejandro, the nine-year-old is described as a White-Hispanic male, with black hair and brown eyes.  He is 4’ 11” and weighs 120 pounds.  Alejandro was last seen wearing a blue Captain America shirt, black shorts, and black Crocs shoes. He has a scar on his left leg.

“The child was abducted by two unknown black males driving an unknown light blue four-door sedan,” the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said in the alert. “One of the abductors may be wearing all black clothing and a black bandanna as a face mask. He may also have cornrows in his hair. If located, do not approach. Contact law enforcement immediately.”  ~ Click Orlando
