Alleged voyeur seen touching himself inappropriately on video outside a Weston home identified, charged
On July 10, the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) reported that, after following tips provided to them from the public, detectives in the BSO Weston District arrested a voyeurism suspect. Detectives say the man seen on surveillance camera touching himself inappropriately inside the patio enclosure of a home in the area of Key West Court last month has been identified as 40-year-old Marcos Patricio Bravo of Weston.
Deputies arrested Bravo on Monday, July 10. He is looking at charges of burglary of an occupied dwelling and voyeurism.Â
The arrest stems from an incident that occurred at approximately 9:10 p.m. on Monday, June 26, when Bravo is suspected of entering the enclosed patio area of the home while wearing business attire and masturbating while individuals were inside the residence.
Following the release of surveillance images by the sheriff’s office to the public on July 3, numerous tips were shared with Broward Crime Stoppers identifying Bravo as the individual seen in the video. Further investigation by BSO detectives led to Bravo’s arrest.
Detectives are continuing to investigate a similar incident that occurred in Weston in early January; but they stopped short of saying that Bravo was also the man suspected in that incident.
Anyone with information on the individual involved in that incident is asked to contact BSO Weston District Detective Michael Moses at 954-626-4008 or submit a tip through the SaferWatch app. If tipsters wish to remain anonymous, they can contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or online at browardcrimestoppers.org. Tipsters can also dial **TIPS (8477) from any cellphone in the United States.
