She is believed to be in the company of 40-year-old Gary F. Day, who police say is the father of Sophia’s unborn baby. They are reported to be traveling in a black Buick LaCrosse.
Initially, police reported the car’s Arkansas tag number as BBR 20L; but investigators have since discovered that the vehicle has utilized various license plates. The vehicle was seen on the morning of 2/3/2025 in Wisconsin with a Pennsylvania license plate of KGW5186.

- Day is described as White, standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 165 lbs. He has blonde hair and green eyes.

Sophia Franklin was last seen at her residence in Beaver Dam on February 2 at approximately 9 p.m. She is believed to have left at approximately 7:48 a.m. on February 3. Franklin and Day are believed to no longer be in Beaver Dam. There is a no contact order for Day and Franklin.
A “no contact order” is a court order that prohibits one person from contacting another person in any way, including by phone, email, text, letter, in person, or through social media, essentially preventing any form of communication or physical interaction between the two parties involved; it’s often used to protect an alleged victim from harassment or potential harm in criminal cases, particularly related to domestic violence.
Day faces charges of child enticement and abduction, according to a criminal complaint obtained by ABC News. Franklin previously told police she began speaking with Day online in April, according to the complaint, and later traveled with him to his home in Arkansas. ~ ABC News
