Anne Arundel County man busted in his Mercedes conducting drug deal in Pasadena
Yesterday, the Anne Arundel County Police Department (AACOPD) announced that on January 13, 2025, at approximately 11:55 p.m., their detectives observed a suspected drug transaction in the area of Outing Avenue and Duvall Highway in Pasadena. Officers made contact with the suspect, who was seated in a silver 1999 Mercedes sedan.
The police investigation led to a search of the vehicle, resulting in the seizure of a loaded .40 caliber Glock handgun, 13 rounds of ammunition, approximately 85 grams of suspected cocaine, 19 individually wrapped strips of suspected Suboxone, and a digital scale.
The suspect, identified as 50-year-old Jerome Shelton Johnson of Arnold, Maryland – who is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition – was arrested and charged.
