Arrest made in December shooting murder of 24-year-old Dania Beach man

On January 17, the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) announced that their Homicide Unit Detectives arrested a Hollywood, Florida man who has now been charged with the shooting murder of 24-year-old Tra-Onzx Pierre.
The fatal shooting occurred on Tuesday, December 27 at approximately 1:45 p.m. and BSO deputies were called to 712 S.W. 10th Street in Dania Beach to respond. When they arrived on the scene, deputies found Pierre suffering from a gunshot wound.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue also responded, and Pierre was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment, where he later died.
During the course of their shooting and homicide investigations, detectives identified 24-year-old Romin Audeus as the trigger-man; and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Audeus was located and arrested on Friday, January 13.
Following his arrest, Audeus was transported to BSO Main Jail where he was being held without bond, and is now looking at one count of first-degree murder. The Sheriff’s Office said that their investigation into the shooting murder remains ongoing.
