Baltimore Police seek public’s assistance in finding escaped inmate

Late in the evening of September 13, the Baltimore Police Department posted a request to the public that they needed their help in locating an escaped prisoner.

Christopher Clanton, Sr., 33, was arrested Thursday night, September 12, in Baltimore’s Northeast District for violating a protective order.  Before being transported to Central Booking, he was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital to be treated for a pre-existing medical condition.

While at Good Samaritan Hospital, Clanton escaped from police custody earlier in the day on Friday, September 13.

Police described Clanton as being 6’ tall and weighing approximately 165 lbs. He is known to frequent the Harford Road corridor.
