On Friday, August 9, the U.S. Department of Justice reported that 33-year-old Sean Jarred Davis of Baltimore admitted to his role in a fentanyl trafficking organization operating in West Virginia’s Hampshire and Mineral Counties.

Davis pled guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute heroin and fentanyl. According to court documents and statements made in court, Davis was the ringleader of the drug trafficking organization, supplying large quantities of fentanyl and heroin. Davis would deliver the drugs to others in Hampshire and Mineral Counties to sell on his behalf.

Davis faces up to 20 years in federal prison. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
