Bobby Brown Jr., Bobby Brown’s son, found dead in Encino
Right about now, singer Bobby Brown – former husband to pop star Whitney Houston – must be wondering if he has fallen under some sort of family curse. Although Brown’s marriage to Whitney was a tumultuous one that ended in divorce prior to her drowning death in 2012 – the two managed to remain close emotionally leading up to her passing.
The L.A. County Coroner’s office issued a toxicology report on the afternoon of March 12, 2012, stating that the official cause of the pop diva’s death was “drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.” ~ The Washington Post
In total, Brown has, or had, a total of seven children. Three years after Whitney died, Bobbi Kristina Brown, Bobby Brown’s and Whitney’s daughter, died a macabre death in the same fashion as her famous mother when she was found face-down in a bathtub in her Atlanta home on January 31, 2015.
Bobbi Kristina was in a coma for six months before dying in hospice care at age 22. Investigators with the medical examiner’s office were not able to determine exactly how Bobbi Kristina Brown died. An autopsy showed that she had morphine, cocaine, alcohol and prescription drugs in her body. ~ CBS News
And yesterday, Bobby Brown lost yet another one of his children, his son, 28-year-old Bobby Brown Jr.
Los Angeles Police spokesman Officer Jeff Lee said officers were responding to a medical emergency when they found Brown Jr.’s body around 1:50 p.m. at a home in Encino, The Los Angeles Times reported.
