‘Botox Bandit’ busted skipping out on paying for injections, twice
On Thursday, September 8, a cosmetic surgery center in Naples, Florida, reported to police that they had been defrauded, twice, by a woman who received Botox injections at their business.
The first offense occurred on August 24 when the suspect, now deemed the “Botox Bandit” by police, received Botox injections from the business. The woman paid for the service with credit card information that was later determined to be stolen from an out-of-state victim.
The second offense occurred when the suspect returned to the same business on September 7 and received additional Botox injections. After receiving the second round of injections, the woman told office staff she had to get her credit card from her vehicle. She went out to her car, but never returned.
Naples Police detectives identified and arrested the woman on September 9. She has since been identified as Exojaine Balbosa, a 44-year-old Collier County resident. Balbosa was charged with criminal use of personal identification and petit theft.
