Cardi B indicted on felony charges following strip club brawl
Cardi B, a.k.a. Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, was indicted in Queens, New York, yesterday on felony charges in connection to a bar fight that went down inside a NYC strip club last August. The Bronx rapper is looking at 14 criminal charges – two of them felonies – related to that brawl. She reportedly went after two sisters tending bar at the strip club; and she thought one of the girls was having an affair with her husband, Offset, according to NBC News.
Reportedly, Cardi B ordered an attack on the two sisters, which ended up with her getting arrested on unspecified charges following the brawl.
Her husband’s band, Migos, was playing at the strip club on the night Cardi B attacked the sisters. The two bartenders now have a court order stating that the rapper must stay away from them. There’s video evidence of Cardi B throwing an ice bucket at the girls on that hot August night.
According to TMZ, she was indicted yesterday, June 20, on 14 charges, including felony assault, conspiracy and harassment.
The rapper, 26, has been indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges, including two felonies, in connection with a fight at a New York strip club, according to TMZ. The grand jury has indicted Cardi on 14 charges, including two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury, the site reported. Other charges reportedly included misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy and harassment. ~ Hollywood Life
Cardi B and Offset have a baby daughter together. The couple separated in December 2018. Cardi B is scheduled to be back in court on June 25.
