Chilling text: Melania’s one word tweet for helping stop the violence at the January 6 Capitol Riots

Just when it seemed that the outrage over the January 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol was beginning to subside, the hearings held by the U.S. House Select Committee investigating the insurrection began holding their live hearings on TV. Many surprising, or perhaps not so surprising bits of information have been unveiled by mostly Republican witnesses at the hearings which have led to the conclusions that Ex-President Donald Trump lied about the 2020 presidential election having been rigged. It’s also becoming more and more clear that Trump had a heavy hand in orchestrating the insurrection and waited hours while the violence was erupting at the Capitol – before he televised a half-hearted request for his riotous followers to leave Capitol.
The Capitol was under siege — and the president, glued to the television, did nothing. For 187 minutes, Trump resisted entreaties to intervene from advisers, allies and his elder daughter, as well as lawmakers under attack. Even as the violence at the Capitol intensified, even after Vice President Mike Pence, his family and hundreds of Congress members and their staffers hid to protect themselves, even after the first two people died and scores of others were assaulted, Trump declined for more than three hours to tell the renegades rioting in his name to stand down and go home (see the attached video). ~ The Washington Post
Another surprising, or again, perhaps not so surprising event that occurred in an effort to quell the violence at the Capitol has to do with former First Lady Melania Trump. So many new and interesting revelations came to light during yesterday’s June 28 House Select Committee Hearing with star witness and former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson, that another former White House aide felt compelled to share a tidbit of her own.
On January 6, when Melania’s former chief of staff Stephanie Grisham tweeted the First Lady and asked:
“Do you want to tweet that peaceful protests are the right of every American, but there is no place for lawlessness & violence?”
… Melania, aka MT, tweeted a brief and chilling reply . . .
Grisham confirmed to The Washington Examiner that the communication was between herself and Melania Trump on January 6, 2021, while adding that she “resigned immediately after her response.” ~ MSN
