Chrissy Teigen apologized to Twitter-verse for dissing her mom and being an ‘a__hole’
Chrissy Teigen, model, TV personality, cookbook author, Twitter queen and self-proclaimed “de-motivational speaker,” is in the news again – but this time for dissing her mom, Pepper Thai. Earlier this week, Teigen’s sarcastic side emerged when she tweeted that her mother “… treats her air pods like they’re disposable. buys a few a month. she says they would be easier to not lose if they had….a cord.”
Many in the Twitter-verse didn’t respond too kindly to Teigen’s tweet, and morphed it into comments on wealth, the have and have-nots and being tone-deaf about mom.
The next day, Teigen was back on-line and tweeted: “Oh man, I haven’t checked my mentions for a bit and I didn’t realize how many people were super pissed off about this,” she wrote. “It was meant as a joke (and exaggeration) about how my mom doesn’t realize AirPods are with a cord are headphones, but it came across as super tone deaf and icky.”

Some of Chrissy’s followers are applauding the fact that she owned up to her mistake and apologized for her “super tone deaf and icky” comments.
