Cops arrest convenience store armed robbery suspect who was dressed as a unicorn
Police in Baltimore County are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on the morning of March 16 involving a suspect who was wearing a unicorn costume. Officers responded to the High’s store in the 13500 block of Long Green Pike in rural Baldwin, Maryland, just after 5 a.m. yesterday. The caller described a suspect dressed as a “unicorn” and armed with a crowbar.
Police were made aware that the suspect had fled the location in a silver passenger car.
While responding to the scene, officers located a silver passenger car that was passing them in the opposite direction on Glen Arm Road. Those officers turned around and eventually located the suspect vehicle, discovering it to be involved in a single vehicle crash in the 14200 block of Manor Road.
As a result of the crash, two individuals were transported to an area hospital and detectives of the Baltimore County Police Criminal Investigations Bureau, Robbery Unit, are continuing to investigate as to their involvement with the robbery. This is currently an active investigation.
The Baltimore Sun reported that no one else was injured in the crash.
