Cops need help identifying suspects wanted for Ormond Beach car break-ins
On May 19, the Volusia Sheriff’s Office in Northeast Florida reported that their detectives need the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects responsible for recent car break-ins that occurred at Bulow Creek State Park in Ormond Beach.
On May 2, two vehicles were burglarized while parked at the park’s north entrance on Walter Boardman Lane. Suspects smashed windows to forcibly enter the vehicles and steal credit cards, cell phones, ID cards and cash belonging to six victims.
Soon after, at least two credit cards from the victims were used to make fraudulent purchases at the Ormond Beach Walmart Supercenter located at 1521 W. Granada Blvd. The two suspects depicted in the accompanying images below were captured on surveillance video after using the cards.
The pair appear to be the same subjects being sought by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office for a car burglary there.
Anyone with information about these suspects or the vehicle burglaries is asked to call Volusia Sheriff’s Detective S. Corbin at (386) 254-1537 or via email: scorbin@vcso.us regarding VSO case # 20-8329.
To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at: 1-888-277-8477 ITIPS) or via email, NEFCrimestoppers.com . You could receive a cash reward.
