Cops searching for female porch pirates masquerading as nurses (Video)
On May 2, the Kennewick Police Department out of Kennewick, Washington, posted a request seeking the public’s help in identifying two porch pirates who had the audacity to dress up as nurses while stealing packages from the porches of Kennewick citizens’ homes. The thefts were caught on door cam home surveillance systems during the current pandemic.
Those surveillance images show the porch pirates, one blonde and one brunette, dressed in medical health care workers’ scrubs. Also caught on camera was a picture of the porch pirates’ getaway vehicle – a Kia sedan.
Police in Kennewick are actively investigating the thefts and need your help in identifying the two culprits. “If you recognize either female or the vehicle pictured please contact non-emergency dispatch at 509 628-0333 and provide KPD Case 20-16877. To clarify, both appear to be dressed as nurses.”
Police went on to say that they firmly believe the porch pirates are not actual nurses.
The nurses we are fortunate to know only give their time, lives, and take the vitals of their patients (not their property). Thank you for your help with their identification. ~ Kennewick Police Department
