Cops searching for women who attacked and robbed Popeye’s employees
On March 16, Florida’s Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) sent out a notice seeking the public’s help in identifying three women who totally lost their collective cool and attacked and robbed a fast-food worker working a drive-through window at a Popeye’s restaurant located in the 7000 block of Seacrest Boulevard in Lantana.
PBSO Deputies responded to that report of a strong-armed robbery that went down at Popeye’s; and upon their arrival, deputies learned that a silver Nissan Sentra occupied by four females entered the drive thru.
Upon reaching the window the female passenger/suspect got into a verbal argument with the employee/cashier, spat at and attacked the employee/cashier.
Two other women got out of the vehicle and began attacking two other employees inside the restaurant. One of the female suspects reached into the window and grabbed money from the register. All four of the female suspects got back into their vehicle and fled the area.
The brutal attack was captured on cell phone video by another customer sitting in the drive-through. Police did not mention if they would be able to track the vehicle through the suspects’ license plate, which appears to be evident in the video.
PBSO deputies are asking anyone who can identify any of the suspects to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
