Life moves pretty fast, especially when you’re the victim of a sudden and unexpected snatching.

Broward Sheriff’s Office Detectives have released a video of a young thief who stole a cellphone right out of the hands of his victim on the evening of January 14 while they rode bus #0824 in Florida’s Unincorporated Broward.

The video shows a young male, possibly a teenager, with dark facial hair wearing glasses, an olive green hoodie, light-colored pants and a black backpack, seated near the rear of the bus. As the bus reached the suspect’s stop, he rose and stood next to the rear doors. The victim was sitting by the rear doors, holding his phone in front of him with his headphones attached.

As soon as the back doors to the bus opened, the culprit suddenly reached out, grabbed the phone from his unsuspecting victim and then ran off. The victim attempted to follow the thief but was unable to recover his property.

Below, accompanying this article, you can see the entire video depicting the dastardly theft.
