Cops want to identify this person of interest in Walmart sexual assault
On May 1, police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, issued a plea for the public’s help in identifying a “person of interest” who they say was seen in video surveillance footage following a woman who claims to have been sexually assaulted inside a Walmart store located at 10900 S Memorial, near E 111th Street. The female victim was shopping in the store with her toddler when the incident occurred on April 19.
Police say that the person of interest they are seeking, “…. allegedly grabbed the victim in an inappropriate and sexual manner.”
Following the assault, the woman told police that the man then left the store, but waited outside for her. When she “told the man off,” he walked away, according to Fox 23 News.
At this time, the person in the photograph is wanted for questioning in relation to the incident. If you can help identify him, please call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS. You can also reach out directly to the Special Victims Unit at specialvictimsunit@cityoftulsa.org.
