Delray Beach double homicide: Search is on for shooter that killed two during July 4 celebration
Early this morning, Florida’s Delray Police Department announced that their officers and detectives were investigating a Fourth of July shooting that left two people dead. It happened in the 100-block of SW 3rd Avenue. Police received a call at 11:44 p.m. regarding the shootings that occurred at a Fourth of July celebration.
According to police, one adult male died at the scene. Another adult male died at the hospital. The entire block had been shut down for the investigation with multiple cars in the area damaged by the gunfire.
The shooter has not been caught; but police say that there is no further danger to the community.
