On December 8, the Volusia Sheriff’s Office (VSO), with headquarters in DeLand, Florida, issued a plea to the public to help in the search for missing teen Carmen Carruyo.  The Sheriff’s Office announced that they’d been searching for Carmen, unsuccessfully, since she ran away from home in the city of Deltona over one month ago.

Deputies say that they’ve been working diligently to try and find her – but with no success.

While there are NO apparent signs of any foul play or suspicious circumstances, we do need your help to locate this missing 16-year-old. ~ VSO

If you see Carmen or have any information about her whereabouts, please call the Volusia Sheriff’s Office on 911 or contact Det. Melissa Bartzer at MBartzer@volusiasheriff.gov.
