A woman is dead after being shot multiple times in North Lauderdale, and detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding her murder. Officials are also seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the shooters.

Background: At approximately 6:43 p.m. on Monday, July 15, BSO deputies and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to a shooting call near the 1000 block of Southwest 76th Avenue. On scene, emergency crews located the victim, Bryanna Nina, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported her to Broward Health North, where she was later pronounced dead from her gunshot wounds.

Witnesses on the scene told deputies that Nina was standing outside of an apartment complex when unknown subjects exited a dark-colored vehicle and began shooting. Detectives say the shooters fled the scene following the shooting. BSO Crime Scene and Homicide Unit detectives responded and are currently investigating the fatal shooting.
