Disney+ announces release dates and times for new Marvel series ‘Hawkeye’
Marvel Studios – via their What’s on Disney+ arm – announced that “Hawkeye” – the much anticipated new Avengers’ spinoff series set in post–blip New York City where former Avenger Clint Barton, AKA Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner,) has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas.
But when a threat from his past shows up, Hawkeye reluctantly teams up with Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a 22–year–old skilled archer and his biggest fan, to unravel a criminal conspiracy.
“Hawkeye” is set after “Avengers: Endgame” and will continue the MCU’s trend of looking at how life has changed for ordinary people after Thanos’ Snap, according to Screen Rant.
The “Hawkeye” cast also includes Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. This new series is being produced by Marvel Studios exclusively for Disney+, so the show will not be available on Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon or Hulu.
