Federal law enforcement continues to seek the public’s help in identifying those who took part in one of the most well documented crimes in U.S history. The FBI has taken the lead in this effort and recently released new photos of a still unidentified man for his part in the riots at the U.S. Capitol on January 6 in Washington, D.C. Photos released this week – featured in photograph #141 – depict the man the Feds would like to have identified.
The suspect is described as a white male who is approximately 5’11” to 6’1” tall, and weighs approximately 225 pounds, with a stocky build. He has white hair, brown eyes, and is estimated to be in his mid-to-late 50s.
He is pictured wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a “Berkshire Nautilus” logo, which is a local health club in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
“We are working very closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to identify those who attempted to use violence and destruction to intimidate, coerce, or affect the conduct of our government,” said Joseph R. Bonavolonta, special agent in charge of the FBI Boston Division. “We are asking the public to take a close look at these photos and to reach out to us if you know who this man is. We believe he was involved in a violent assault on federal officers and no amount of information is too small or irrelevant.”
- Anyone with information about the identity of this individual should call 1-800-CALL-FBI or visit tips.fbi.gov to submit information. Please reference #141—the assault on federal officer photo number—when calling or submitting information online.

As of August 30, 639 people have been charged for their involvement in the Capitol insurrection. Insider has provided a searchable table showing the names, the criminal charges, and the home states of all of them.
