This spring, fans of Netflix’s 2021 Enola Holmes film were delighted to hear that the streaming service gave the thumbs up to a sequel with both Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill reprising their roles. Brown, who rose to fame playing the character Eleven in “Stranger Things,” was also excited about the prospect of a sequel with Henry (Superman, Witcher) Cavill and the rest of the Enola Holmes cast and crew.
“I can’t wait to collaborate again with my Enola Holmes family! Enola holds a special place in my heart – she’s strong, fearless, intelligent and brave. I look forward to fans seeing how her journey continues!” ~ Millie Bobby Brown

In speaking to People Magazine, the Man of Steel actor teased that we may see Sherlock at a low point at the beginning of this film, and he may have to rely on his sister to help him back on his feet. He revealed:
“In this film, we find a Sherlock that has started to fall apart. He has found a challenge that has proven the better of him, and it is leading him towards a slippery slope — a slope that only Enola has the capacity to pull him back from.” ~ cinemablend
MSN shared that, according to Netflix, Enola Holmes 2 will feature “a mystery of historic proportions,” and the new trailer shows how the case will see Enola and Sherlock cross paths. It also has a very dramatic cover of Jet’s “Are You Gonna Be My Girl,” in keeping with modern movie trailers.
The movie starts streaming on Netflix on November 4.
