Erica Cole road rage shooting: Alabama woman shoots husband instead of her intended target
In a strange case of karma coming back with a bite, a reported case of road rage that went down on Highway 69 in Dodge City, Alabama, about 6:45 p.m. on July 6 and continued to a residence on County Road 160 in Bremen – a woman ended up shooting her husband instead of the intended target of her rage.
The woman doing the shooting was identified as Erica Cole.
During the incident an altercation occurred in which Erica Cole attempted to shoot a second party but shot her husband Nicholas Cole, striking him in the head, according to the Sheriff’s Office report
During this investigation the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office worked in conjunction with the Cullman County District Attorney’s Office. Cole was arrested for attempted murder, assault 2nd and reckless endangerment. ~ The Cullman Times
The shooter’s husband was transported to intensive care at the UAB Hospital where he was still registered as of yesterday. Erica Cole was jailed at the Cullman County Detention Center with a $30,000 bail, cording to CNN.
Nicholas Cole is listed as being in stable condition, according to USA Today.
