Five injured in Virginia mass shooting
Police in Chesapeake, Virginia, announced last night that four boys along with one adult male were injured on Saturday night in a mass shooting that went down in Chesapeake. According to the Chesapeake Police Department, they are currently investigating that mass shooting that occurred in the 1300 block of Drayton Road.
At approximately 5:02 p.m., police received a call regarding gunshots fired at that location.
Five victims, four male juveniles and one adult male were shot and transported to local hospitals for their injuries.
Police said that the area remains an active crime scene, and that they did not have any information regarding the suspected shooter to share. Police also didn’t share the identities and ages of the victims.
Anyone with any information about the shootings is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UPSM; Submit a tip on line at P3TIPS.COM, or on their smart phone on the P3TIPS APP. Callers are never asked to give their name or required to testify in court.
If a caller’s tip leads to an arrest, the recovery of drugs, or stolen property they could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1500.
