Florida cops bust and deport one cocaine dealer, still searching for another
On February 28, the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office (IRCSO) reported that that they were searching for two fugitive drug dealers identified as 32-year-old Luis Alberto Boyso Valenzuela, and 28-year-old Jesus Godinez. The Sheriff’s Office reported at that time they had successfully apprehended one of those local dealers, Luis Alberto Boyso Valenzuela.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, on February 16, IRCSO Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant in Highridge Mobile Home Park, which is located in north Gifford, Florida. As a result of that investigation, SIU with assistance from Border Patrol and DEA gained criminal intelligence that led to the identity of additional illegal narcotics dealers located in the City limits of nearby Fellsmere. Special Investigations Unit subsequently developed probable cause to obtain a search warrant at 122 North Cypress Street, as well as arrest warrants for Luis Alberto Boyso Valenzuela and Jesus Godinez.
On February 26, Special Investigations Unit executed the search warrant at 122 North Cypress Street and were successful in arresting Valenzuela. The following items were seized at that time:
- 59 grams cocaine (TPW)
- Scales
- Baggies / packaging
- Mixing agents
Godinez remains at large and has an active Indian River County warrant for “Sale/Manufacture Delivery of Cocaine”. Valenzuela is currently detained at the Indian River County Jail. He’s been charged with possession and sale of cocaine and is being held on a $17,000 bond. Valenzuela was also served with a deportation detainer by US Border Patrol agents.
