Florida man arrested for molesting two children at Disney’s Magic Kingdom
A Florida man was arrested and charged this week after officials in the Sunshine State said that two children accused the man of touching them inappropriately at one of the Walt Disney World Resort parks. James Jones, 50, was taken into custody at Disney’s Magic Kingdom and then charged with molestation, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say one of the victims told security that a suspect touched them as he walked by inside Ye Olde Christmas Shop. Disney security were told about another incident at the pre-show area of the Haunted Mansion.

While deputies were looking into the first complaint of a child having been touched inappropriately at the Ye Olde Christmas Shop, a second complaint came into Disney’s guest relations office when a victim reported that a man touched them while they were exiting the Stretching Room pre-show in the Haunted Mansion, according to WFTV.
Investigators said that Jones was seen in two separate security photos with the victims.
Following his arrest, Jones had his bail set at $50,000 and was ordered by a judge “not to return to Disney property or any other place where children congregate.” He was booked into Orange County Jail.
Disney released a statement regarding the incident:
“We take these kinds of allegations seriously, and when we became aware of the allegations, we engaged law enforcement. He has been trespassed from Walt Disney World.”
