Four-year-old child shot dead, four adults injured in Ohio home invasion
Details are still few and far between, but police in Struthers, Ohio, are saying that in the early morning hours of September 21, an unidentified and unwelcome assailant with a gun walked through the front door of a residence in Struthers around 2 a.m. this morning and began yelling and firing his weapon. Struthers is located near the Ohio-Pennsylvania border.

Police were called and arrived en masse at the residence on Perry Street in Struthers. Following the shooting, the gunman fled the scene and is still at large, according to WLWT.
Police have not yet released the names of the shooting victims but reported that, “two men were in critical condition and two women were shot in the legs.” One of the female victims that was shot is the mom of the four-year-old boy that died in the shootings.
Struthers Police Chief Tim Roddy said that his detectives questioned the two female victims at the hospital.
The victims described the suspect as a younger, thin, light-skinned black man who was wearing a black jacket at the time. They told police they didn’t know who he was. ~ WKBN
Police are actively searching for the suspect, according to 19 News.
Police have not revealed any motive for the shooting.
