Harford County man found shot dead at Longwood Court apartment complex
Yesterday, Maryland’s Harford County Sheriff’s Office announced that their detectives were looking into a fatal shooting that went down in Edgewood.
On Wednesday, August 2, at approximately 7:42 a.m., patrol deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to the 600 block of Longwood Court in Edgewood for the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival on the scene at 7:44 a.m., deputies located the victim, identified as Tyrell Orlando Polley, 33, of Edgewood suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation was assumed by Detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit also responded to the area to collect and preserve physical evidence in support of the investigation. The sheriff’s office said that their investigation is still in its early stages and that it remains active and ongoing.
The circumstances and motive regarding the homicide remain under investigation.
