Harford County: Two shot, one dead in Aberdeen
Just hours ago, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office reported that in the early morning hours of January 5, at approximately 12:34 a.m., patrol deputies in the area’s Southern Precinct responded to the 1300 block of N Sewards Court in Aberdeen for the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, deputies located two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other victim, identified as Kylonne Taylor, 18, of Aberdeen, was found in the basement of the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies attempted life saving measures on Mr. Taylor, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation was taken over by detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit responded to collect and preserve physical evidence in support of the investigation. At this time, while the motive remains under investigation, detectives do not believe this to be a random act.
The Sheriff’s Office said that even though their investigation is active and ongoing, no further information will be released at this time.
They do ask that anyone with information about this crime, or who may have video of the incident, is asked to call Detective Moro, with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, at 443-409-3154.
