HBO Max releases official trailer for ‘Titans’ season three

This week, mega streaming service HBO Max released the official trailer and some key artwork for season three of the Max original series “Titans.” The first three episodes of season three are scheduled to debut on Thursday, August 12, with subsequent episodes launching weekly every Thursday through October 21 on HBO Max. “Titans” follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and seek to find their places in the world of superheroes.
Due to the show’s popularity, “Titans” has earned an early renewal with season 4 approved and already in the works, according to FandomWire.
** Potential Spoilers Alert Ahead for Titans Season 3 **
All of the primary cast members from season two are back for the upcoming season, including Donna Troy who appeared to die at the end of last season. In season three, our young heroes will find their way to Gotham City, “where they will reunite with old friends and face new threats,” according to Tech Radar.

Super villains scheduled to appear include Dr. Jonathan “Scarecrow “Crane and Starfire’s evil sister Blackfire. Lex Luthor will have a role to play this season; but whether we’ll actually see him – or his presence will be simply alluded to remains to be seen.

As the Titans make the transition from San Fransisco to Gotham, Dick Grayson will reunite with Barbara Gordon, “the former Batgirl who was paralyzed by Joker and now heads up the GCPD,” according to Variety.
The two will work together and try to learn from the “mistakes of their parents”, according to showrunner Greg Walker. ~ Tech Radar

Other developments for season three which avid fans are already most likely aware include Dick Grayson taking on his new costume in the guise of Nightwing and Starfire adopting her classic costume from the comic books. We’ll also watch former Robin, Jason Todd, descend into madness as the anti-hero Red Hood.
