Home of British billionaire heiress robbed of $64 million of jewelry
The West London home of British billionaire heiress Tamara Ecclestone, daughter of Bernie Ecclestone of Formula One fame, had her home ransacked and robbed of millions of dollars’ worth of her jewelry. Reports estimate that the Friday night robbers got away with jewelry estimated at upwards of $64 million. The 35 year-old heiress had reportedly left her home for the holidays when the looters struck, according to ABC News.
A spokesperson for the model told the media that the incident has left the heiress’ family “angry and shaken.”
“I can sadly confirm there has been a home invasion at the Ecclestone-Rutland family home,” a spokesperson for Ecclestone said in a statement to ABC News. “Internal security are co-operating with police in this matter. Tamara and family are well but obviously angry and shaken by the incident.”
Ecclestone’s home is located on Kensington Palace Gardens, very near the home of England’s Prince William and his wife Kate. The average cost of a home in that area, known as Billionaire’s Row, is almost $49 million.

Police in the area confirmed that a robbery took place at Ecclestone’s residence. “Police were called to a residential property in Palace Green, W8, at 23.11hrs on Friday, 13 December, to reports of a burglary,” the Metropolitan Police said in a statement. “Officers attended. It was reported that an amount of high value jewelry had been stolen.”
“There have been no arrests. Enquiries continue,” the statement added.
