Immokalee man charged with cocaine trafficking
On April 29, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office headquartered in Naples, Florida, reported that a suspected drug dealer had been taken into custody, and that nearly 13 ounces of cocaine were recovered during a search warrant that was served that day. At about 9 a.m. on April 29, Vice and Narcotics detectives, assisted by SWAT, executed that search warrant at 1021 Miraham Drive in Immokalee.
Detectives located and seized 12.7 ounces of cocaine, 24.9 grams of marijuana, numerous items of narcotic paraphernalia, and $1,300 cash within the residence and an outdoor shed.
Detectives arrested Socorro De Jesus Brito, 42, who lives at the residence and was present during the search. Brito is charged with trafficking in cocaine over 200 grams, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
Brito was booked into the Immokalee Jail Center.
