In honor of ‘World Chocolate Day,’ check out the most popular candy bar in every state, including yours
We celebrated yesterday, July 7, as World Chocolate Day, a special kind of holiday that was founded in 2009 so we could all come together to savor and honor the delicacy of the gods, cho-o-late! My family celebrated with homemade chocolate chip cookies and Vanilla Bean ice cream covered in Hershey’s syrup.
And in honor of this very serious, highly celebrated holiday, the research team at Menu Price, set out to find what each state’s favorite candy bar was. To determine the most popular candy bar in each state, the Menu Price team looked at a list of 30 much-loved candy bars and analyzed Google search data in each state over the last 12 months.
Here’s the full breakdown of every state’s most popular candy bar:

And although we officially recognize July 7 as World Chocolate Day,
at Ace News Today’s offices, every day is World Chocolate Day. Hope yours was a great one!
*Editor’s Note: A Facebook buddy wrote in earlier to note that Skittles is not a candy bar – and he’s correct. For that matter, Reese’s isn’t a candy bar either. I’m assuming our friends at Menu Price just meant to say that those two non-candy bars are the favorite candies for those locations. Peace out. ~ Ace News Today
