On January 6, Florida’s Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office shared a surveillance photo of a car thief photographed “in the act,” and has asked the public to please share this photo in the hopes of capturing this criminal.

Officials are currently investigating a series of auto burglaries in the San Marco area over the last few days. The individual pictured above has been identified as a suspect in those reported crimes.

The individual in the photo was said to be accompanied by a second black male described only as “slender.” The vehicle they were seen in was reported to be a small S.U.V. type vehicle, possibly a Dodge Journey.

Anyone who has any information in regards to the identity of this suspect is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or email us at JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. To remain anonymous and receive a possible reward up to $3,000 contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
