Man charged with attempted murder of 14-year-old girl that dates back to September 2023 shooting
On March 22, police in Baltimore City announced the arrest of 18-year-old London Stevenson in connection to a shooting that went down in the city’s Western District back on September 8, 2023. Police investigators learned that Stevenson shot the girl while they were both in the 2100 block of Presstman Street.
During the course of their investigation into that shooting, detectives were able to identify London Stevenson as their suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. On March 12, 2025, at approximately 5:45 a.m., investigators took Stevenson into custody while he was in the 2900 block of Southland Avenue. Police transported Stevenson to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.
Background into the Western District Shooting: On September 8, 2023, at approximately 7:20 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of North Pulaski Street and Presstman Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.
Upon their arrival, officers canvassed the area and located a 14-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where she was later listed t be in stable condition. Preliminary investigation revealed that the girl was shot in the 2100 block of Presstman Street.
