Maryland shooting erupts at 2-year-old’s birthday party leaving seven injured
At a Saturday night birthday party being held for a two-year-old in the D.C. suburb of Camp Springs, Maryland, shots rang out wounding at least seven party-goers. There were only about 12 people in total at the party. Fox News reported officials with the Prince George’s Police Department as saying that all of the shooting victims were adults, ranging in age from 18 to 20 years old.
The party was taking place outside of an apartment complex near the Camp Springs / Morningside areas of Prince George’s County, when the shooting started.
An individual approached the group of party-goers where allegedly “words were exchanged” and shots were fired into the group, according to Prince George’s County Police Chief Hank Stawinski.
Of the seven shot, three are “more serious” and four are “less serious,” Stawinski said. All were transported to the hospital and are expected to survive. ~ MSN
